About the RoleThis is a casual position, requiring a commitment of 3-4 days per week, ideally between Monday and Thursday. You will work with our team to ensure students receive the best possible learning experience, utilizing flexible learning modes and technology to accommodate student needs.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver and teach nursing program content, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks
- Mentor students to understand and apply codes and standards of professional practice
- Utilize learning technology effectively and embed in design and delivery
- Engage in student-centered learning and teaching practices, maintaining an active and positive education experience
- Provide ongoing assessment support for students to satisfactorily complete assessment tasks
- Tertiary qualification in nursing
- Current Division 1 Nurse Registration with AHPRA
- Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment with LLN competency or any postgraduate adult education qualification
- Demonstrated experience in student-centered teaching and ability to work within a professional and motivated academic team
- Excellent communication skills and ability to contribute to the academic and administrative environment of the faculty
