Job Title: Surveillance System Administrator

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surveillance System Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our surveillance systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting investigations and incident reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare CCTV Footage
  • Upon request from stakeholders, prepare CCTV footage for review and analysis.
Record, Archive, and Retrieve Footage
  • Record, archive, and retrieve CCTV footage efficiently to support investigations and incident reporting.
Conduct Regular Audits
  • Conduct regular audits of access rights and user privileges within the surveillance system.
Ensure Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with privacy legislation and internal protocols.
Liaise with External Agencies
  • Liaise with law enforcement and government agencies as required.
Respond to Time-Critical Requests
  • Respond quickly and logically to time-critical requests from stakeholders.
Maintain Detailed Logs
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all footage requests, access, and transfers.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience
    • Proven experience with CCTV systems, network infrastructure, and video management software.
  • Demonstrated Ability
    • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive material in line with data privacy regulations and company protocols.
  • Technical Skills
    • Well-versed in file transfer protocols, encryption, and storage devices.
  • Problem-Solving Skills
    • Demonstrates excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative Working
    • Experience working collaboratively with teams across the organisation to achieve shared results.
