About Our Mental Health Program
Our Mental Health Program serves consumers, their carers and families across the South-Eastern metropolitan region with bed-based, community and rehabilitation programs. We pride ourselves on developing great Allied Health clinicians from the early years and allowing them to grow and develop in all areas of Monash Health.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Social Workers to ensure they are qualified, credentialed and trained to provide effective care.
- Work closely with the Allied Health Mental Health leadership team, Social Work Discipline Senior colleagues, Allied Health Educators, Allied Health Managers and Directors.
- Advocate for Monash Health's Strategic Guiding Principles.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Social Work or Masters Social Work Qualifying OR Masters of Social Work, OR equivalent as assessed and approved by the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
- Eligible for ordinary membership of AASW.
- 10 years post qualifying experience as a Social Worker.
- Accredited Social Worker and/or Accredited Mental Health Social Workers (as approved by the AASW) preferred.
