Assistant Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Jay Jays in Wollongong. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales and providing an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the Store Manager to maximize sales opportunities through coaching and developing the team.
- Provide feedback and guidance to team members to ensure they are meeting sales and customer service targets.
- Implement visual merchandising strategies and promotional changes to drive sales and customer engagement.
- Act as Store Manager when required, including opening and closing the store.
- Manage stock levels to minimize loss and maximize sales.
- Opportunity to join our Future Leaders Program, designed to develop and train our future Store Managers.

Requirements- Previous leadership experience, ideally in a retail environment.
- Confidence in providing praise and improvement feedback to team members.
- Ability to provide an exceptional and unique customer experience.
- Knowledge in loss prevention and health and safety.
- Visual merchandising experience is advantageous.
