**Diesel Mechanic Role Overview**
We're seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to perform maintenance and complex repairs on customer owned equipment in a safe and professional manner.
The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring it is in good working order
- Repairing complex diesel systems and other equipment components
- Performing routine maintenance tasks and documenting them accurately
- Providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues that may arise
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- 3-5 years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Knowledge of construction equipment and strong mechanical background knowledge of various engines
- Must own necessary tools for the position
- Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills
