Key Responsibilities:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care for patients with acute and chronic mental health needs.
- This role involves working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care that meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
- You will support patients and their families in decision-making, advocacy, and discharge planning, ensuring a seamless transition back into their communities.
- As part of our team, you will have opportunities to supervise and mentor ENs and AINs, helping them develop their skills and confidence.
- Your input will be invaluable in contributing to clinical quality, safety, and improvement initiatives that drive excellence in our services.
- Effective communication is crucial in this role, particularly when discussing risks and patient safety. You will be expected to communicate clearly and confidently with patients, families, and colleagues alike.
Requirements:
- A current registration as a Registered Nurse (AHPRA) is essential for this role.
- With a minimum of 3 years' experience in mental health nursing, you will possess strong clinical and risk management skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- We are looking for someone who can work professionally and collaboratively in a private hospital setting, prioritizing patient needs and delivering high-quality care.
