Occupational Therapy Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Central Coast, AU. This is a permanent full-time position as a mobile clinician, providing care to Australians in the comfort of their homes.
This role offers variety in caseloads, allowing you to utilise your skills and grow as a health professional with ongoing clinical support and mentoring from senior clinicians.
In this Community role, you will support:
- Home Care Package clients: supporting independence through home assessments, equipment prescriptions, and home modifications.
- Rehabilitation in the Home program: focusing on post-orthopaedic surgery rehabilitation.
- Hospital in the Home program: supporting clients after hospitalisation, including general surgeries.
- For Residential Aged Care clients, you will:
- Complete assessments, including initial assessments, reviews, post-hospitalisation, and falls.
- Develop, implement, and manage programs.
- Design and facilitate group programs.
- Complete individual sessions with residents.
- Prescribe equipment.
About You
To succeed in this role, you should be a fully qualified Occupational Therapist, ideally with 2 years' experience in a Community or Aged Care setting, and willing to grow your skills across both.
As a mobile Occupational Therapist, you will need to travel to clients across the central coast region and provide your own vehicle (kilometre reimbursement provided for travel).
