Press Brake Machine Operator Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Machine Operator to join our fabrication team. As a key member, you will be responsible for operating press brake machines to bend, cut, or shape metal sheets or plates according to specifications provided in blueprints, drawings, or work orders.

The successful candidate will have a trade qualification in sheetmetal and at least 2 years' experience in recent press brake machine operation. You will also have experience working with stainless steel and mild steel plates from 1mm up to 20mm, as well as the ability to read and interpret drawings and set up machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate press brake machines to bend, cut, or shape metal sheets or plates according to specifications.
  • Set up the machine, select and install appropriate tooling, and ensure that the bending or cutting process meets quality standards and tolerances.
  • Inspect finished products for defects and make adjustments to the machine as needed.
