This is a key role that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the treatment quality conforms to all relevant regulatory and compliance standards.

About This Role:

We are seeking an experienced Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate III in Water Industry Operations or relevant trade qualification.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Operating and maintaining water and wastewater treatment facilities
  • Performing routine plant inspections and undertaking maintenance activities
  • Using, handling and storing chemicals in accordance with WH&S requirements
  • Assisting with the construction and commissioning of new assets
  • Undertaking sample collection, testing and analysis to monitor and manage treatment plant operations
Qualifications & Experience:

Certificate III in Water Industry Operations or relevant trade qualification or equivalent relevant experience

Class C (standard) Driver's Licence (compulsory to have & maintain)

Relevant experience in the water and wastewater treatment industry

Experience in the maintenance of mechanical equipment within the industry

Experience in the use of treatment chemicals
