This position requires a qualified teacher with a strong understanding of special education needs and experience working with students who have diverse learning profiles. You will be responsible for providing targeted, individualized educational support for students with diverse learning needs as part of the LEAPS Department at Waverley Christian College.

Your primary focus will be on writing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and conducting assessments to ensure students receive the best possible support. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaborating with parents, staff, and external professionals to deliver a multi-disciplinary approach to supporting students' learning requirements.

Additionally, you will be required to hold current First Aid qualifications and an Anaphylaxis Certificate, or be willing to obtain them prior to commencement. Being committed to the values and ethos of Christian education and willing to get involved in all aspects of the college's programs and opportunities is also essential.
