About the Opportunity
You'll be joining a large network of survey professionals who work across our business, gaining hands-on experience while being supported and mentored by industry-leading professionals in an organisation that prioritises the development of its people.
Working on a diverse range of projects, this role will see you:
- Operating and setting up geospatial equipment
- Carrying out routine maintenance and adjustments
- Supporting project surveyors with setouts and subdivision surveying
- Undertaking and assisting small and large-scale feature surveys, moving into the role of party lead when ready
- Coordinating geospatial control networks, monitoring surveys, machine guidance surveys, and construction set-out surveys
- Gaining hands-on experience with laser scanning and UAV/drone technology
About You
You've been described as self-motivated and enthusiastic, and you love working outdoors. With previous experience in the field of surveying, you see firsthand the rewarding benefits associated with a stable career and ongoing growth and development opportunities.
- A demonstrated ability to solve problems using tools and technology
- The agility to adapt to changing circumstances associated with the nature of project work and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- A team-centric approach and experience following instructions in a safety-critical environment
- Driver's License is essential and a diploma in surveying or similar will be highly regarded
- Civil3D & Stringer experience will be highly regarded
- Ability to work away from home for short periods is desirable
