About the Role

The Operations Manager for Gippsland is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the delivery of exceptional, person-centred care services in Baptcare's Gippsland Residential Aged Care portfolio. This role entails fostering a culture of service excellence, empowering staff to consistently exceed resident expectations, and pioneering innovative business solutions to expand revenue within the service and operations division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service Delivery: Ensure the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective care services that meet consumer needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Workforce Culture: Foster a workforce culture that promotes kind, empathetic, and respectful interactions with consumers, acknowledging their individual identities and cultural diversity.
  • Clinical Collaboration: Collaborate closely with clinical teams to maintain high standards of care, ensuring individualised care plans are effectively executed.
  • Resident Outcomes: Manage the assessment, monitoring, and evaluation of resident outcomes to drive continuous improvement.
  • Staff Development: Oversee the recruitment, training, assessment, and equipping of staff to meet consumer needs in alignment with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Business Innovation: Collaborate with the Business Innovation Manager to implement innovative RAC business process improvements to enhance financial performance and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Expertise: Extensive expertise in Aged Care Management, with superior knowledge and demonstrated application of all aspects of Aged Care Management and associated regulations.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership and people management skills to achieve operational objectives in accordance with strategic plans.
  • Collaboration: Effective collaboration with peers and stakeholders to drive business improvement, growth, and foster a culture of service excellence.
