Job Title: Logistics Support Driver

Description:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced logistics support driver to assist with our doorstep pick-up and delivery service in Sydney. As a logistics support driver, you will be responsible for covering routes when our regular drivers are unavailable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Covering routes as needed to ensure timely delivery of dry cleaning and laundry orders
  • Performing other duties at the plant, including assisting with concierge routes, loading and unloading vans, and performing van inspections
  • Providing excellent customer service and interacting with clients in a professional manner
  • Maintaining a high level of accuracy and reliability in completing tasks
  • Working effectively in a fast-paced environment and adhering to safety protocols

Requirements:

  • A current valid driver's license and copy of driving history record
  • Experience driving large vans (7m long) and confidence in navigating Sydney roads
  • A reasonable level of fitness for frequent stops and lifting of packages
  • Good English reading, writing, and comprehension skills
  • Strong face-to-face customer service skills and ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and meet the physical demands of the role

Benefits:

  • $35 per hour

Additional Information:

  • Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with flexibility to be called in earlier or stay later as required
  • On-call weekends (capped at 1 day per week)
  • Based at our facility in Thornleigh, NSW
