Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Newcastle Private Hospital. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
- Demonstrate professional practice by adhering to AHPRA professional standards, code of ethics, and conduct
- Foster a learning environment through clinical presentations and supervision of peers, ENs, graduates, and students
- Act as a valued member of the inter-disciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care
- Collaborate with external partners to ensure patients receive high-quality care across the healthcare continuum
- Current Registration with AHPRA and working rights in Australia
- 5+ years of experience in an acute surgical or cardiac ward setting
- Commitment to quality patient care
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work across multiple hospitals in our network
