Software Developer Role

This position plays a pivotal part in the entire software development lifecycle at our institution. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing and documenting solutions to meet the evolving needs of the organization.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Create software solutions and enhancements through design and development.
  • Collaborate in agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement and sprint planning.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to establishing technical standards.
  • Provide Level 3 support for our systems and platforms.
  • Mentor junior developers and support team capability growth.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and advocate for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure accessibility, quality and performance standards are met across solutions.
Requirements:
  • Proven working experience with AWS Cloud, including hands-on expertise in AWS CDK, AWS Glue, AWS Step Functions, Lambda, API Gateway, SNS/SQS, ECS, DynamoDB, S3 and CloudWatch.
  • Demonstrated success in agile software development environments.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and ways of working.
  • A collaborative mindset with experience mentoring or supporting peers.
