About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solutions Architect to join our team in Melbourne, VIC. As a trusted customer advocate, you will help our Enterprise customers understand best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions and provide advice on strategies for migrating existing workloads to the cloud and deploying innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Help drive successful business outcomes across a broad set of enterprise customers through your passion for educating, training, designing and building cloud solutions.
  • As your customer's AWS CTO, you will have the opportunity to help shape and execute a strategy to build deep adoption and broad use of AWS within your enterprise customers.
  • Manage your time to support our customers and account teams with your detailed understanding of AWS Services.
  • Go beyond the technical solution architecture and work with the account teams, specialists and partners to deliver a practical solution that will accelerate the customers business outcome.
About the Team

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

Requirements
  • 7+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
  • 7+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
  • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
