The Role:

  • We are seeking a highly motivated Aerospace Accountant Specialist to join our team in Australia. As an experienced financial professional, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate invoicing, financial reporting, and budgeting processes.
  • You will champion controls, processes, and continuous improvement in your role, preparing monthly capital reporting and analysis for stakeholders.
  • Your duties will include building strong relationships with Finance stakeholders inside and outside of the business, supporting the annual financial audit, budgeting, and periodic forecasting processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, plus 3-5 years of experience in general accounting.
  • Achievement or progress toward a professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA/CA) is a plus.
  • Experience in manufacturing, inventory, repair and overhaul, and cost accounting is a plus.
  • Active curiosity in understanding data and what drives it; ability to ask open-ended questions and integrate data from multiple sources.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with integrated ERP systems (IFS exposure a plus).
