Procurement Specialist Opportunity

This procurement specialist position plays a key role in the procurement process, evaluating vendor qualifications and supporting procurement objectives to deliver value, reduce risk, and enhance service quality for stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities
  • Conduct market research to identify suitable vendors for procurement packages.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Evaluate vendor performance against established KPIs and service standards.
  • Analyze vendor ratings and develop corrective action plans where necessary.
  • Monitor vendor performance to ensure timely delivery and order fulfillment.
  • Ensure supplier relations comply with company ethics and policies.
  • Work collaboratively to achieve project goals and meet schedule deadlines.

Key Skills and Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Strong understanding of procurement principles and practices.
- Proven experience in vendor management, including strategy development and relationship management.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Willingness to travel interstate as required.
