About the Role
  • Conduct field service diagnostics and breakdown repairs on mining and heavy earthmoving equipment.
  • Complete scheduled maintenance and servicing across various sites.
  • Fault find and troubleshoot equipment.
  • Work autonomously across mine sites unsupervised.
  • Comply with site safety procedures and reporting requirements.
Requirements
  • Diesel Fitter / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic certification required.
  • Minimum 2 years' post-trade experience in mining or heavy industry needed.
  • Experience with CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, or similar equipment beneficial.
  • Current Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain) essential.
  • Standard 11 or equivalent (or willingness to obtain) also required.
  • Manual driver's licence (HR advantageous).
  • Strong focus on safety and quality workmanship expected.
  • Experience on drilling equipment an advantage.
  • Ability to work autonomously in remote locations necessary.
