Job Overview

We're seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Specialist to design and develop cutting-edge machine learning tools for visual effects workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement machine learning-based solutions for VFX pipelines
  • Collaborate with VFX supervisors and technical directors to integrate ML models into production environments
  • Research and prototype state-of-the-art computer vision and generative AI techniques for image, video, and 3D data
  • Optimize and deploy ML solutions for real-time and batch processing on high-performance compute systems
  • Develop and maintain documentation, mentor team members, and contribute to our knowledge base

Requirements:

  • Proven expertise in machine learning, deep learning, or computer vision
  • Strong programming skills in Python (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar ML frameworks)
  • Familiarity with VFX principles and practices, including DCC tools (e.g., Nuke, Houdini, Maya), and rendering technologies
  • Knowledge of 3D data processing, such as point clouds or volumetrics, is highly desirable
  • Experience with GPU optimization, cloud computing, or distributed training
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to translate creative challenges into technical solutions
