Job Title: Senior Occupational Therapist

As a senior occupational therapist, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of our clients and foster the development of others within the team. This leadership role demands exceptional clinical skills, passion for working in the disability sector, and commitment to delivering person-centred services.

About the Role
  • You will manage an allocated caseload and complete therapeutic services in a timely manner.
  • You will assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments.
  • You will interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant.
  • You will assist with guiding, collaborating with, and reflecting with junior staff members and/or students.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Must be currently registered (or eligible for registration) with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Must have experience in delivering person-centred Occupational Therapy services.
  • Must have demonstrated at least 3 years clinical OT experience within community, rehabilitation and/or paediatrics.
  • Must have a genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
  • Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must hold current and valid Working with Children and Police Checks.
  • Must have a valid Driver's license and access to a reliable motor vehicle.
