About the Role

This role involves managing an allocated caseload and delivering timely therapeutic services to individuals with disabilities. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management and organisational skills, as well as a pro-active attitude and interest in continually developing their skills.

  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • A genuine passion for working in the disability sector and commitment to delivering high-quality services

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Assessing participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
  • Interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
  • Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals
  • Maintaining awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance
