Warehouse Operations Assistant

The successful applicant will be an essential member of our warehouse team, supporting the smooth operation of our logistics and ensuring that our products reach customers efficiently.
Key responsibilities will include operating a forklift truck, loading and unloading vehicles in the loading dock area, manual handling such as picking and packing, stock rotation and replenishment, and ad hoc general warehousing duties as required.
- Operate a forklift truck to safely move stock around the warehouse and load/unload goods from vehicles.
- Conduct thorough inspections of the warehouse floor to identify any hazards or areas requiring maintenance.
- Participate in regular cleaning and housekeeping activities to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Support the warehouse management team in achieving operational goals and objectives.
- Assist with receiving and processing shipments, including inspecting goods and updating inventory records.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A current high-reach forklift license.
- At least one year's experience working in a similar environment or be willing to undergo training.
- Previous experience with six-bay-high stock storage systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift up to 20kg.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
