Job Overview

The Field Service Supervisor is a pivotal role within the organization, accountable for ensuring the efficient execution of major shut down projects and maintenance tasks across the region.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating major shut down projects through effective planning, resourcing and communication with key stakeholders.
  • Assisting in the preparation of work scopes, costing, scheduling, project planning and execution to completion.
  • Ensuring all reporting needs and administrative functions required by the company and the customer are completed promptly and regularly.
  • Supervising the accuracy and timeliness of time sheets and sub-contract documentation to enable prompt job costing.
  • Identifying continuous improvements within your area of responsibility.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a supervisory, project management or technical role with Mining Equipment in the mining industry or with a related OEM.
  • Appropriate Trade / Post Trade Qualifications and related Product Training.
  • Intermediate PC Skills, ability to analyse technical data and reports.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A safety focus and adherence to site safety processes.
  • Relevant Trade Certificate - Mobile Plant Mechanic (HD Diesel Fitter - Earthmoving/Heavy Transport) coupled with extensive experience and knowledge in repairing, servicing and maintaining mobile plant equipment.
  • Strong ability to adapt yourself to different teams, rosters, environments and workloads.
  • Ensure 100% Customer satisfaction with both internal and external stakeholders, branches & suppliers.
