About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Home Care Worker. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to our clients, enabling them to live independently in their chosen community.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care assistance to clients, such as showering, dressing, and continence care;
  • Assisting clients with cleaning, shopping, meal preparation, and other light housework;
  • Transporting clients to appointments and undertaking personal shopping;
  • Assisting with medication management;
  • Supporting clients in the development of a consumer-driven care plan.

About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of seniors. You will need to be a caring and empathetic person, able to build strong relationships with our clients and their families.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent;
  • Completion of the HLTHPS006 unit of competency or ability to acquire;
  • Current First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificates;
  • A current driver's licence and a willingness to use your own comprehensively insured vehicle for work purposes;
  • Physical capacity to carry out the duties required, including house and manual work;
  • A National Police Certificate or the ability to acquire.
