Conveyor Draftsperson

We are seeking a skilled Draftsperson to produce 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings of conveyor rolls and associated conveyor structures and frames.

The role involves reviewing customer specifications, clarifying deliverables with Engineers and Sales staff, and participating in customer review meetings.

• Prepare layout assemblies, detail drawings and bills of materials.
• Review and improve existing drawings, templates and processes.
• Provide support by preparing 3D and 2D models, generating drawings and materials lists, and assisting in concept designs.

• Completed a Trade Certificate, Diploma or Associate Diploma in Mechanical Drafting, Engineering Design or similar.
• Experience with manufacturing and/or mining environments; exposure to conveyor equipment, rotating components or fabricated steel products is advantageous.
• Proficient in Autodesk Inventor for 3D modelling and 2D detailing; understands and applies best drafting practices.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with a diverse team.
