Business Development Manager Job Description

Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will be passionate about sales and building strong, strategic partnerships. This is a dynamic sales role that offers significant growth opportunities within a well-respected national business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and grow a portfolio of high-value retail partners to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Drive sales through effective range planning, promotions, and stronger distribution channels.
  • Implement the 'Perfect Store' model, including planograms, displays, and point-of-sale activation.
  • Built strong relationships with key stakeholders, including pharmacists, retail managers, and store staff.
  • Identify and capture competitor insights and market opportunities to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Utilize Salesforce to track and report on store-level execution and provide data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
About You:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in sales or business development, preferably in retail, pharmacy, or FMCG.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and consistently delivering results.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with a proactive and hands-on approach.
  • Comfortable using CRM tools, particularly Salesforce, to manage relationships and drive sales growth.
  • Able to travel across your designated territory as required.
