- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of month-end and year-end accounts, maintaining regulatory compliance and reporting requirements.
- Prepare and submit regulatory returns, including BAS, IAS, FBT, and Workcover, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage bank reconciliations, cash management, and general ledger adjustments, fostering transparency and accountability.
- Develop and maintain accurate monthly and annual financial reports, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the accounting function, overseeing the preparation of financial statements and regulatory returns.
- Drive process improvements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance financial performance and maintain Child Safeguarding principles.
Requirements:
- CA or CPA qualified (or near completion), with 3–5 years' experience in financial accounting.
- Skilled in financial reporting, tax compliance, reconciliations, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficient in Xero, Excel, Word, and other Microsoft tools.
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, growth-focused mindset.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a high level of integrity and accountability.
