Job Title: Operational Manager

Job Description:

The key role of the Operational Manager is to ensure consistent profitability by implementing sales, customer service, merchandising, marketing, public relations, staff training, reclamation and product donation flow, transportation, and processing of in-store donations.

The incumbent will perform a range of duties including:

  • Directing store operations to meet sales targets and control expenses while maintaining customer service standards
  • Managing staff hiring, orientation, training, evaluation, recognition, discipline, and termination according to organizational standards
  • Maintaining health and safety, labour & employee relations, and other related issues at a store level
  • Determining and maintaining appropriate inventory levels based on spot checks and reviews of weekly sales records
  • Ensuring in-store safety for staff and customers
  • Preparing financial and other requested reports to headquarters
  • Working with external partners to deliver emergency and disaster services as assigned

Critical Relationship Management:

The incumbent will have internal relationships with district managers, other store managers, and store teams, and external relationships with guests, donors, vendors, community partners.
