Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Director to lead our commercial and finance functions in Australia. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for driving financial performance and strategic decisions.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in manufacturing leadership, with expertise in cost drivers, operational efficiencies, and performance improvement strategies. You will be responsible for developing budgets and forecasts, creating business cases for growth initiatives, and executing business strategy.

  • Develop and implement financial plans to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Lead a high-performing finance team and mentor them to achieve excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Proven commercial and strategic finance experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage and influence at both operational and strategic levels.
  • High-level financial acumen with a track record in budget control, cost optimization, and business transformation.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, Microsoft Suite, and financial modeling.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive change.
