Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Graduate Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the design, implementation, and delivery of industrial refrigeration projects.

About You
  • You have a tertiary qualification (minimum B.Eng.) in Mechanical, Process, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Conceptual understanding of creating, reading, and interpreting drawings.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive approach and ability to work autonomously.
  • Keenness to learn and develop through contact with various professionals, including fabricators, consultants, and tradespeople.
  • Possession of a current valid driver's license.
  • Current right to work in Australia.
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment checks, including reference checks, medical, criminal record check, and drug & alcohol testing.
Main Responsibilities
  1. Perform complex engineering calculations and designs for refrigeration solutions.
  2. Prepare detailed estimates for minor project work, including tender submissions to client specifications and deadlines.
  3. Evaluate existing refrigeration plants and assist clients in modifying systems as required.
  4. Market all services to customers, including consulting, contract work, maintenance, and parts supply, with a significant focus on customer support.
  5. Manage project costs and ensure successful project completion.
  6. Prepare risk assessments for equipment and project work, ensuring compliance with health and safety systems.
  7. Draft designs for small projects and manufacturing using AutoCAD, Solidworks, and hand sketches.
  8. Complete safety and engineering audits of refrigeration systems on site and compile client reports.
  9. Contribute to the continuous development of internal systems to streamline engineering and project management functions.
  10. Complete various administrative duties associated with engineering and project management operations.
