Research Fellow in High Performance System Emulation

We are seeking a talented researcher to join our team in the area of high performance system emulation.
This is an outstanding opportunity to advance your career in software engineering and machine learning while exploring the area of system emulation for large scale, automated dynamic analysis of software.
As a research fellow, you will have the option to investigate and develop new ideas and concepts for full system emulation for large scale automated dynamic analysis of software binaries.
You will be involved in the development of techniques for improving the performance of system emulation software and/or theory, tools for discovering bugs and vulnerabilities in software binaries.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of generating new ideas and quality research or software products as evidenced by patents or publications in top-tier software engineering and computer security conferences and/or journals.
To be successful, you will need:
PhD (or soon to be awarded) in Computer Science or Software Engineering or a similar discipline.
Experience and demonstrable expert knowledge in fuzzing techniques and tools, secure software and software vulnerability analysis, programming languages, Linux kernels and operating systems, just-in-time compilers, CPU emulators, virtual machines, hypervisors and hardware virtualisation, computer architecture, machine learning domain expertise, and programming experience in Rust/C/C++/Python.
A strong work ethic, creativity, and ability to communicate scientific ideas to an expert audience.
