Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Advanced Control Systems

We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team and contribute to an exciting ARC Discovery Project. As part of this role, you will undertake research on control theory and machine learning techniques for the project and work closely with our Process Control Group.
This is a fixed-term contract position that offers the opportunity to conduct independent research with limited supervision. The successful candidate will have a PhD in Engineering or Mathematics and demonstrated skills and experience in process control and modern control theories including nonlinear control and stochastic systems theory.
The ideal candidate will also have a strong track record of publications and conference presentations, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake research on control theory and machine learning techniques for the project
- Work closely with the Process Control Group
- Conduct independent research with limited supervision
