Senior Airfield Planner Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Airfield Planner to oversee the planning and design of new airfield and apron facilities at Perth Airport, Australia's Western Hub.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the planning and design process, overseeing data analysis and external consultant engagement, and ensuring timely and accurate information provision to internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities.

  • Lead planning and design activities for new airfield and apron facilities;
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless project execution and address any issues that may arise during the planning and implementation phases;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external consultants to deliver high-quality planning studies and documents;
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with regulatory authorities and other key stakeholders;

About You:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in airport planning at major airports or aviation planning consultancies;
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Airport Planning, Engineering, or a related field;
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a keen ability to analyze data effectively;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written;
  • Experience in the planning and design process for infrastructure projects;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with advanced CAD skills an advantage but not essential;
  • Team player capable of working effectively with peers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to achieve planning and design objectives.
