About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at Followmont Transport. As a full-time permanent employee, you will be working on a fleet of 1000+ units, repairing new trucks, including Kenworth, Mack, Volvo, Isuzu, and UD, as well as completing routine servicing, diagnostics, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain heavy commercial vehicles to a high standard.
  • Perform routine servicing, diagnostics, and maintenance on a variety of truck makes and models.
  • Work collaboratively with other trades in the workshop to achieve goals and deadlines.

Requirements
  • A valid qualification for the repair and maintenance of heavy commercial vehicles (Certificate III in HV Mechanical Technology).
  • Proof of experience within the Heavy Diesel repair industry.
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to plan workload and required parts.
