Job Description

As a Lecturer in Nursing, you will be responsible for leading unit teaching teams and working collaboratively with other unit teaching teams in the course to develop effective unit curricula and learning resources.

This role involves applying industry, clinical and/or research practice into student learning experiences, success, engagement and resources. You will also adopt innovation in curriculum design at the unit level and deliver learner-centric, research-informed teaching practices across different levels/modes of delivery.

  • Lead unit teaching teams and contribute to the review of units and courses.
  • Apply industry, clinical and/or research practice into student learning experiences.
  • Audit innovation in curriculum design and deliver learner-centric teaching practices.

  • Develop and implement effective teaching methods and strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum content and materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement.
Requirements

To be successful, you'll have a postgraduate qualification in mental health and mental health nursing experience, a PhD in a relevant discipline and/or other relevant qualifications and experience.

Additionally, an emerging reputation in research and scholarship through publications and/or exhibitions and/or success in obtaining external research funding is required.
