Leadership Opportunity in Space Research

This is an exciting part-time opportunity for a current University of Western Australia (UWA) based researcher to join the International Space Centre (ISC) Executive. The role will provide leadership and oversight to ISC Node activities involving UWA researchers, students, and educators.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in conducting and publishing space-related research, with a record of successful research grants and excellent written and verbal communication skills. They will be able to work effectively with academic researchers and contribute to the growth of UWA's multidisciplinary space capability across diverse fields including humanities, sciences, and engineering.

• A degree qualification at PhD level in any field.\
• Demonstrated experience in conducting and publishing space-related research.\
• A record of successful research grants.\
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high-level consultation skills.\
• Ability to work effectively with academic researchers.\

• Part-time appointment on a fixed term basis for two years.\
• Base salary range: Level C, $144,143 - $165,809 / Level D, $173,024 - $190,355 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.\
