Job Description:

  • Maintain equipment, focusing on scissor lifts and boom lifts, to ensure peak performance and prevent accidents.
  • Conduct regular inspections and fault-finding activities on machines to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Dismantle and reassemble equipment to a high standard, adhering to strict quality control measures.
  • Perform steam cleaning, basic welding, and spray painting as required, ensuring all work meets the highest safety and quality standards.
  • Fitting parts to machines by established standards.

Requirements:

  • Possession of a relevant trade certificate is mandatory.
  • Experience and knowledge of repairs related to elevated work platforms (EWPs) are essential.
  • Thorough understanding of scissor lifts and boom lifts, including their operation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Ability to understand customer expectations and apply quality principles in daily work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and repairing scissor lifts, boom lifts, and other equipment.
  • Conducting inspections and performing fault-finding activities to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Assembling and disassembling machines to a high standard, adhering to quality control measures.
  • Performing steam cleaning, basic welding, and spray painting as required.

About the Role:

This is a permanent position requiring full-time hours (minimum 38 hours per week) at our Southern suburbs location.

The successful candidate will possess a relevant trade certification and experience working with scissor lifts, boom lifts, and elevated work platforms.
