Accounts and Finance Administrator (AR/AP) Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable/Receivable Administrator to join our team at a leading residential home builder in QLD.

About the Role

The selected candidate will work closely with the Office Manager and Company Accountant to issue progress claims and liaise with clients and stakeholders to facilitate payment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing progress claims in accordance with HIA Contracts
  • Daily bank reconciliations
  • Reviewing aged payables and taking appropriate action
  • Closely monitoring progress of jobs and following up delays with Site Supervisors and our Client Liaison team
  • Completing BOQ and margin reviews pre-construction

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum 2 years experience with project accounting, milestone billing, and progress claims in a construction environment
  • Proficiency in Xero
  • Experience with Databuild and Microsoft Suite
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to build strong, positive relationships with colleagues and subcontractors
