DLA Piper is seeking a highly skilled Finance Analyst - P2P to join our Shared Service Centre in Brisbane, servicing the APAC region for a 12-month fixed-term parental leave coverage.

As a key member of our P2P team, you will be responsible for processing invoices in a timely and high-quality manner, adhering to Service Level Agreements and customer expectations. You will respond to enquiries, resolve open items with vendors, and collaborate closely with team members locally and internationally to drive continuous improvement, excellent customer experience, and a positive working atmosphere.

We are looking for a finance professional with excellent English skills, preferably with 2 years of experience in a Finance department, preferably in Accounts Payable. Familiarity with MS Office and SAP accounting software is a strong asset. You will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a customer and teamwork focus.

Main Responsibilities

  • Process invoices in line with procedures and firm policies
  • Ensure accurate posting of processed documents in accordance with accounting rules and legal compliance
  • Correct erroneous AP documents
  • Handle customer requests and enquiries
  • Meet agreed SLAs and KPIs
  • Identify opportunities for AP process improvements and implement them
  • Assist in reviewing and maintaining process documentation
  • Share and apply best practices in the Accounts Payable area
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers
  • Ensure adherence to company standards and guidelines
