Industrial Electrician Role Overview

This is a key opportunity for an experienced industrial electrician to work on various projects across the agricultural, mining, and water treatment markets.

The role involves working infield on a range of equipment, providing opportunities for growth and experience in all aspects of pumping and water treatment. You will be part of a collaborative team, working alongside other tradespersons on electrical works, including installation, fault-finding, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of pumps, irrigators, and VSD controllers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Electrical works involving installation, fault finding, trouble shooting, conducting repairs and maintenance to pumps, irrigators and VSD controllers
  • Ensure compliance with procedures, applicable standards and statutory requirements
  • Assist with onsite electrical works and commissioning
  • Control circuit design and modifications
  • Fault finding and programming of PLC, HDMI and VSD
  • Terminations, splicing and test and tag of electrical equipment
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A strong background in industrial electrical work, ideally with experience in process electrical and VSD control systems
  • Holding a current electrical licence (electrical fitter/mechanic) and ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
  • A manual Driver's License is also required
