We are seeking a highly organized and effective Administrative Officer to join our team. As the primary point of contact for ANZICS members, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to key roles, committees, and stakeholders.
Your duties will include coordinating committee meetings, managing membership applications, administering manual and electronic filing systems, and supporting the dissemination of communications across various channels.
You will work closely with the General Manager, Executive Assistant, and Events Lead to ensure seamless execution of administrative tasks.
- Coordinating Committee meetings, including development of agendas, minutes, and reports
- Organizing Committee member travel, venue bookings, and catering
- Administrative support for ANZICS events, including maintaining the events calendar and updating conference pages on the website
- Managing membership applications and updating the membership database
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinating Committee MeetingsYou will be responsible for organizing and coordinating committee meetings, including developing agendas, taking minutes, and producing reports. This will involve working closely with committee members to ensure that all necessary information is gathered and disseminated effectively.
Administrative Support for ANZICS EventsYou will provide administrative support for ANZICS events, including maintaining the events calendar and updating conference pages on the website. This will involve working closely with the Events Team to ensure that all necessary details are captured and communicated to stakeholders.
Membership AdministrationYou will be responsible for managing membership applications and updating the membership database. This will involve working closely with the Membership Team to ensure that all necessary information is gathered and processed efficiently.
This role requires excellent written communication skills, proficiency in meeting minutes and agendas, and the ability to manage varied and conflicting demands to meet agreed standards and timelines.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:

- Proven ability to work well and liaise effectively with team members at all levels
- Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
We offer an attractive package comprising salary commensurate with responsibilities of the position and level of experience, 12% superannuation contribution to the provider of choice.
The position is offered on a 1-year contract, full-time basis (38 hours per week), with a view to extend. Part-time employment may be considered for the right candidate.
Occasional interstate travel may be required.
