Job Title

Security Officer - Gold Coast and Brisbane.

About the Role:

  • Location: Various locations across the Gold Coast and Brisbane region.
  • Security licence holders new to the industry welcome to apply.
  • Weekday and weekend shifts available.
  • 20 hours per week.
  • Afternoon shifts.
  • Level 2 Pay.

We are expanding our operations on the Gold Coast and Brisbane, securing additional contracts that strengthen our presence in the area. This growth has created new roles within our team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients.

These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers. They offer the opportunity to work in response roles, handling events such as protests and emergency management, with training across multiple locations and a variety of positions.

Key Responsibilities

Providing Strong Customer Service Solutions: Providing excellent customer service solutions to visitors, contractors & clients.

Monitoring CCTV and Access Control Systems: Proactively monitoring CCTV and Access Control Systems.

Conducting Building Patrols: Conducting building patrols to actively report and mitigate security & safety risks.

Identifying and Reporting Hazards: Identifying and reporting hazards and building faults for rectification.

Supporting Tenants and Facilities: Providing support to tenants and facilities.

Managing Contractors and Deliveries: Managing contractors and deliveries through dock management.

Responding to Emergency Situations: Responding to emergency situations.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work well in a team or autonomously.
  • Ability to work in a rotational roster (Nights/Days/Weekends).
  • Australian citizen or hold unlimited work rights.
  • Previous experience in corporate real estate contracts (highly desirable).
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and write reports.
  • Demonstrated ability in the use of computers and security-related systems (Access Control, CCTV, Microsoft programmes).
  • Availability and physical fitness to walk and stand for long periods.
  • Valid QLD Security License (including Monitoring Subclass).
  • Crowd control endorsement will be highly desirable.
  • Current first aid & CPR certificate.
