Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Sports Marketing Professional to support our local marketing efforts. The successful candidate will work closely with the Field Marketing Manager to build and implement marketing initiatives that drive credibility and connection in sports scenes.

\Main Responsibilities
  • Develop a Sports Strategy: Align national brand strategies with local market trends, focusing on measurable results.
  • Sports Marketing Initiatives: Support the FMM in executing field strategies, enhancing brand health, and improving product understanding within sporting fields.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze consumer behaviors and market trends to proactively adjust strategies, ensuring relevance across key consumption occasions and moments of need.
  • Key Relationships: Identify and manage key creators, athletes, teams, opinion leaders & influencers within each playground, developing strong relationships to unlock mutual benefits.
  • Event Planning: Lead the planning and execution of national and regional events, ensuring excellence in delivery and alignment with brand values.
  • Initiative Development: Spearhead the development and execution of groundbreaking local initiatives with sports & fitness, amplifying global and national campaigns.
\Requirements
  • Candidate Profile: A university degree in Marketing, Business, Events, or at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Networking Skills: Mid-level marketing experience, and a network, within sport and active lifestyle in Victoria/Tasmania.
  • Purpose-driven Candidate: Strong people, networking & collaboration skillset, along with a passion for local sport culture.
