Support Worker Role Summary

Our organization seeks passionate and experienced individuals to support people with disabilities in various settings. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our clients by providing personal care, household tasks, and daily living activities.

Working as a Support Worker requires flexibility and adaptability, including working day shifts, short shifts, sleepovers, and weekends on a rotational basis. You must be able to accept short notice shifts, which is an essential part of this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support participants with personal care needs, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with household tasks, including meal preparation and cleaning.
  • Provide daily living activities, like assisting with medication management and mobility support.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate III in Individual Support - Disability (highly desirable).
  • Minimum 6 months paid work experience in Support Worker roles.
  • Current Working with Children (WWCC) & NDIS Worker Check.
  • National Police Check.
  • Driver's Licence.
