**Job Summary**
Work & Training is seeking a motivated individual to undertake a Certificate III in Plumbing Apprenticeship. As a valued partner with one of our esteemed clients, we offer a comprehensive training program that combines on-the-job experience with formal education.
**Key Responsibilities**
• You will be employed by Work & Training and hosted at our valued Host Business.
• Work will be full-time, Monday to Friday, with full entitlements including four weeks of holidays per year.
• You will attend block training dates through TasTAFE and receive dedicated mentoring and support throughout the apprenticeship.
• Your workplace supervisors and team will provide daily instruction and additional workplace knowledge.
**Learning Outcomes**
• You will learn to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• You will work in a safe manner, adhering to strict guidelines and processes.
• You will use and maintain a variety of tools and equipment.
• You will cut, assemble, and install pipes and fixtures.
• You will maintain and repair drains and piping systems.
• You will work with water tanks, heaters, and pumps.
**Essential Attributes**
• As a physically demanding role, the successful applicant will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical that includes drug and alcohol testing.
• A drivers' license, reliable vehicle, and White Card are essential.
