At Marriott International, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our hotel's maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and maintaining the highest standards of safety and security.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain all engineering and maintenance operations, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain all necessary licenses and certifications.
- Develop and implement energy conservation and cost-saving initiatives.
- Supervise and train maintenance staff to ensure excellent guest service and high-quality workmanship.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest satisfaction.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 4 years of experience in engineering and maintenance or related field; technical training in HVAC-R, electrical, and plumbing.
- Or 2-year degree from accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major; 2 years of experience in engineering and maintenance or related field; technical training in HVAC-R, electrical, and plumbing.
