Heavy Earthmoving Equipment Technician

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Heavy Earthmoving Equipment Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our heavy earthmoving equipment by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and servicing.

Job Description

The role involves working with a variety of heavy earthmoving equipment including but not limited to excavators, dump trucks, and graders. You will be required to inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues as well as perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and tire rotations.

You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of work completed, parts used, and any issues encountered during the repair process.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in heavy earthmoving equipment maintenance and repair
  • Cert II in Automotive Tyre Servicing or equivalent
  • Valid Drivers Licence (HR drivers licence desirable)
  • Standard 11 (or willing to obtain)
