Job Title: Insurance Risk Advisor
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Insurance Risk Advisor to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. As a go-to advisor, you will provide first-line risk advisory and assurance within RACQ Insurance, working closely with second and third-line risk staff.
The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary education in business, risk management, or a related field, as well as experience in general insurance dealing with reinsurance, capital, and partnerships.
You will be responsible for establishing effective working relationships with managers and staff at all levels, collaborating with other risk and compliance functional staff, and supporting the implementation of localized risk management policies and processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing effective working relationships with managers and staff at all levels
- Collaborating with, and supporting, other risk and compliance functional staff
- Supporting the implementation of localized risk management policies and processes
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the risk management framework
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary education in business, risk management, or a related field

- Strong working knowledge across continuous improvement coaching, facilitation, and advocacy
- Insurance operations, and regulatory environments
