Job Role

This position entails providing medical care to Defence personnel in a state-of-the-art facility located at RAAF Base Darwin, near the international airport.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical services, including aviation-based services like fitness assessments and aircrew clinical health management, in line with professional standards, legislation, and defence policies.

Your tasks may involve working in an outpatient setting or as inpatient care within a hospital or medical centre.

Your Impact
  • Deliver exceptional medical care to Defence personnel.
  • Provide medical expertise to senior commanders.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Unrestricted registration as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRA.
  • FRACGP, FACRRM, or Vocational Registration.
  • Minimum 2 years' full-time (or part-time equivalent) GP experience in the last 5 years.
  • Australian citizenship is required for Baseline Security Clearance.
  • Basic military aviation medicine course or equivalent.
